Program details day by day
We have chosen to break with the usual travel consumer habits by not sharing the day-by-day program with you, but rather a description of what awaits you, because we believe more in establishing a relationship of trust, from human to human. However, this detail may be communicated to you at a later date.
If I had to revisit the world, I’d do it through the eyes of a native, with his holistic, systemic, ancestral approach! This tour is designed to give you a new perspective, by understanding and living Andean and Amazonian cosmovisions, integrating health, their relationship with others and with Nature, their values of sharing and their craftsmanship.
To do this, you’ll start with a museum featuring archaeological finds from the 3 Andean worlds. You will then spend 3 days in a Quechua community, making offerings at sacred places of worship, receiving ancestral treatments, taking part in collective activities and living with a local family.
You’ll then head to the Amazon region for a 3-day immersion in a community project practicing herbal treatments and vertical childbirth. See what distinguishes our Amazonian friends from the Andeans in terms of their conception of the universe… And your journey continues in a botanical reserve, hosted by a multilingual Ecuadorian environmental activist, for a unique sharing experience linking the communities you’ve just met with a more modern vision. She’ll make sure that the principles you’ve witnessed over the past few days don’t just stay in your head.
We’ve still got a few surprises in store for you, including a visit to Cotopaxi Volcano Park… but let us take you on a journey of discovery.
